Sequoia NP

After 3 days of breathtaking views in Yosemite National Park we decided to leave southward and head to the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park. We didn’t have that much time so we went for the classics: the General Sherman Tree, the biggest tree on earth (in volume). It suddenly appears majestically from behind other huge trees looking like babies compared to the General , with a diameter of 7.7 m. A lot of visitors, a waiting line to take selfies and a tight schedule made us return to the car pretty quickly. We wanted to see more and drive through the tunnel log but the road was closed for a few hours for some reason so we continued our drive to Bakersfield.
